. >> and i'm tori campbell. it is thursday, august 23rd. developing news, the muni line is delayed due to a broken water main. we are live at the scene of the rupture. it's in san francisco's sunset district to explain what happened and how it's impacting the commute. good morning lorraine. >> reporter: good morning, well, the commute is now back to normal. you can see the muni line down the road there. it's actually not experiencing any delays at this point. a crew member with the san francisco water department just told me that he thinks there's some kind of an electrical problem between the muni line and the water pipes on the street. he said crews have been working on leaks here the past couple of years and you can see where they opened the ground to turn off the main and then sealed it back up. the problem started this morning with a two inch copper pipe springing a leak. it never affects water service here but did cause some delays as trains moved slowly through here while a crew was working on the pipe. now service is back to normal
